I recently got a banjo and I'm Lovin’ it

I am having a lot of fun learning how to play banjo. It is a fun instrument with a lot of heart and character. my good friend Kelly Ebberts came into town and we made this video of Wagon Wheel by Old Crow Medicine Show... Enjoy!
Recording is going well. I am hoping to have some new songs available for your listening pleasure shortly.

Driven By The Sound in Rexburg

We showed Driven by the sound in Rexburg last night. After the screening I performed with my new band line up of Justin Cutler on drums and Piers Tueller on bass. the show was fantastic. everyone who came seemed to truly enjoy themselves. our performance went well and we were received well by a very gracious audience. thanks for all that came

LDS Film Festival

This weekend I am headed down to Utah for the LDS Film Festival. My Brother Kenny’s Film Trouble In Zion will be screened there on Saturday. This is a great peace of art, here is a link to the website,

I did the music for the film. Here is a video of me playing Morning Trumpet, one of the songs in the film. I came across this song while I was singing in a men’s choir. I thought the text was so powerful so I made my own version of the song. The melody is very loosely based on the original melody. Enjoy…

Welcome 2010

2010 will be an exciting Year. I am thrilled. I have had a great holiday season and I am excited to get back to work. I spent the season in Washington with family. I hope you had a great time and that the holidays were a happy time for you.
January always seems hopeful to me because it is time to start a new. New goals, new year, new whatever else you want. I am in the recording process and hopefully you will be hearing some new tunes soon. good luck with your new year resolutions.
