      <description>I am having a lot of fun learning how to play banjo.       <description>We showed Driven by the sound in Rexburg last night. After the screening I performed with my new band line up of Justin Cutler on drums and Piers Tueller on bass.  the show was fantastic.  everyone who came seemed to truly enjoy themselves.  our performance went well and we were received well by a very gracious audience.  thanks for all that came&lt;br/&gt;Jake</description>

      <description>This weekend I am headed down to Utah for the LDS Film Festival.  My Brother Kenny’s Film Trouble In Zion will be screened there on Saturday. Here is a video of me playing Morning Trumpet, one of the songs in the film.  I came across this song while I was singing in a men’s choir.       <description>2010 will be an exciting Year.  I am thrilled. I have had a great holiday season and I am excited to get back to work.  I spent the season in Washington with family.  I hope you had a great time and that the holidays were a happy time for you.&lt;br/&gt;    January always seems hopeful to me because it is time to start a new.   New goals, new year, new whatever else you want.
